Hospital workers have risky and stressful jobs at the best of times, but COVID-19 has pushed these healthcare workers to their limit. Restaurants small and large across the country stepped up to take care of these heroes by providing them with free food. You joined us in thanking those who are serving our nation’s MVPs!

Fast-casual restaurants &Pizza and Sweetgreen both stepped up to not only give hospital workers free food but to deliver it directly to hospitals. They both decided to do this early on and were trendsetters for a number of restaurants that followed. 

We decided to show them how much our nation appreciates what they’ve done! We’ve already sent the thank you cards with the names, locations, and personal messages from the signers, but feel free to add your name now anyway.

Here’s what the card said:

Thank you for taking care of the people who are risking their own health to take care of us! Our nation’s healthcare workers are up against the both dangerous and difficult task fighting COVID-19, and we appreciate that you are keeping them nourished, and perhaps more importantly, raising their spirits. Americans have noticed, and we’re grateful.
