Muslim Students Association – University of California, San Diego

A subsidiary of ISNA, The Muslim Students Association (MSA) was founded in the 1960s with explicit help from the government of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood. The organization has been accused of associations with terrorist activities. In 2010, when speaker David Horowitz went to University of California San Diego he had an exchange with a member of UC San Diego’s MSA chapter. During the exchange, the student refused to condemn Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations. When Horowitz asked the student if she was “for or against” Hezbollah’s declaration that they wish for Jews to gather in Israel so they don’t have to be hunted down, presumably to kill them, the student responded “for it.” To this day, MSA’s chapter at UC San Diego has not condemned this exchange.
