Muslim Students Association – UC Irvine
A subsidiary of ISNA, The Muslim Students Association (MSA) was founded in the 1960s with explicit help from the government of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood. The organization has been accused of associations with terrorist activities. The MSA chapter at UC Irvine has a publication called Alkalima which publishes radical islamic sentiments. The 2004 issue of Alkalima contained an opinion piece that praised Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. The piece states “the Arab people have realized that the only solution to the Zionist situation is through military force, which is espoused by Hamas, Hizb’ Allah, Islamic jihad, and other Islamic resistance organizations.”
