A nationwide leftist “gun rights” group frequently associated with ANTIFA, the anti-cop movement, and general left-wing extremism. Many chapters later abandoned the John Brown Gun Club name and became part of “Redneck Revolt.” In 2019, a Club member attempted to blow up a detention facility but was thwarted by police. In 2023, members of the Club instigated a brawl that took place outside of a drag show in Fort Worth in which they attacked both protesters and police.
