A notorious leftist organization that frequently aligns itself with antisemitic groups, Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) most recently helped organize the pro-Hamas protests in 2024 at Columbia University. JVP blamed the October 7 massacre of more than 1,200 Israeli civilians by Hamas terrorists on Israel and the United States. There are approximately 12 JVP chapters on college campuses who collaborate with other anti-Israel organizations such as Student for Justice in Palestine. In San Francisco, California, JVP cosponsored a rally where a speaker stated, “The resistance is liberating land that has been occupied for 75 years. The intifada lives and Palestine lives!” and signs at the rally stating “Decolonize is not a metaphor” and “resistance is not terrorism”
