Aidan Smith

An HR Analyst at UCLA Health according to his since deleted LinkedIn profile, in November 2024 Smith allegedly made threatening remarks to author J.K Rowling and Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC). In response to a tweet Rowling made about John Oliver, Smith stated, “I hope someone m*****s this b*tch soon.” In the same month, Smith allegedly sent a threatening, expletive-laden voicemail to Mace’s office in response to the congresswoman’s transgender bathroom policy, stating he hopes she commits suicide. Smith followed up by saying he will “pray to GOD” that Mace commits suicide. Shortly after these incidents went viral, Smith took down his pages on X and Bluesky (@Aidanrts), but as of December 2024 his X page is active but on “protected” status, and his Bluesky page is also active. Despite the evidence, Smith denies involvement in making the voicemail.
